BLOOD RED THRONE To Record New Album In December
October 5, 2006Norwegian death metal act BLOOD RED THRONE is hard at work on material for its fourth studio album. The band will make a pre-production recording of the new songs at the end of October to try out a new studio in hopes of recording the new album sometime in December. The new CD will mark the recording debut with the group of two new members: Anders Haave on drums and Vald on vocals. Both Haave and Vald previously performed live with the band on several occassions as stand-in musicans for the former members Espen "Beist" Antonsen (drums on "Affiliated with the Suffering" album) and Mr. Hustler (vocals on all previous albums).
BLOOD RED THRONE's last touring activity was as the support band for MORTICIAN in Europe — the infamous tour where MORTICIAN vocalist Will Rahmer was arrested in Poland and Vald from BLOOD RED THRONE and Jason from AKERCOCKE had to replace Will on bass and vocals for the rest of the tour.
BLOOD RED THRONE's new CD is expected in early 2007 via Earache Records.
